The Dongsi Law Enforcement Team Carried out a Centralized Cleanup and Management Campaign for Waste Non-motor Vehicles

Firstly, the Team carefully surveyed waste non-motor vehicles and made detailed records. The Team cooperated with the comprehensive law enforcement groups and the grid center for supervision and management in the sub-district jurisdiction to survey the parking spots of waste non-motor vehicles in public areas around the main streets, summarize the number, types, appearance and damage degree of such vehicles and make renovation plans and clean-up records based on the survey data. Secondly, the Team posted public notices to give tips. By hanging publicity banners, posting notices and pasting cleanup notices on the vehicle body, the Team publicized the purpose, significance, measures, arrangements and reclaiming manners related to the cleanup of waste non-motor vehicles among the public to win their understanding, support and cooperation, and reminded vehicle owners of removing their vehicles and parking them in right places in advance. Thirdly, the Team carried out joint clean-up work and standardized disposal processes. In cooperation with multiple departments, the Team took pictures of the waste non-motor vehicles that have not been placed by vehicle owners in the right places before the deadline and formed records. Then, the waste non-motor vehicles were transferred to designated places for proper temporary storage, waiting for owners to claim them. When owners claim their vehicles, the Team officers should make claim records including confirmation and signature of owners, photo taking and registration, and then return the vehicles to owners. If nobody claims the vehicles before the deadline, such vehicles would be scrapped in accordance with regulations.
