The 2014 Golden Autumn Shopping Season of Dongcheng District Opens

  With the approach of the Mid-autumn Festival, the 2014 Golden Autumn Shopping Season of Dongcheng District will embrace the harvest season of September and October. Sponsored by Dongcheng District Chamber of Commerce, the shopping season takes the theme of “Wonderful Gifts, Beautiful Season”. From September 8 to October 7, nearly a hundred merchants in the 5 major commercial circles and 6 featured commercial streets will be engaged in the shopping season, presenting a shopping carnival to local people during the festival.

  During the shopping season, merchants in major commercial circles and streets will show various marketing techniques and attract consumers’ attention by thematic sales campaign with innovation. In the Wangfujing commercial circle, Beijing Department Store, Arts & Crafts Emporium, Dongan Department Store, and Lisheng Sport Department Store will respectively present unique commercial campaigns and outdoor thematic activities such as “925” brand promotion, “Gather in a Lovely Mid-autumn Festival” bracelet culture festival, 925 • My Love • Big Sales, and “All-people Sport of Time Challenger”. While the Chongwai commercial circle focuses on family love and has launched a series of warm and delightful activities such as the public-interest parents-child activity of protecting little angels held by Glory Mall, the nine happiness activity held by Tianya Jewelry City, and “Love in Hongqiao, Enjoy the National Holiday” activity held by Hongqiao Market. Dongzhimen commercial circle has designed many fashionable thematic activities such as the “Let’s go traveling, honey!” to be held by Oriental Ginza that will focus on tourism and culture. In the meantime, many time-honored brands in Dongcheng District will also join the shopping carnival in the golden autumn.
