Dongcheng Improves Business Environment

  In order to actively promote the continuous improvement of the business environment in Dongcheng District, Dongcheng Human Resources and Social Security Bureau started from understanding the enterprises' demand for graduates, and seized the opportunity of the special month for graduatesin Beijing to hold a series of job fairs. The bureau cooperates with various institutions of higher learning and held special job fairs inviting Dongcheng enterprises to go into campuses, municipal-level joint job fair for graduates and promotion activities of enterprises in campuses; it also released information of Dongcheng enterprises to universities and colleges. With these measures and more, the bureau proactively provided a platform for Dongcheng enterprises to employ talents, which helped to promoted business environment for enterprises to develop and won their praise. Up to now, the demand of employing 3,486 graduatesis met. The bureau has also organized 2 special job fairs at the CentralAcademy of Drama and Beijing University of Technology, with more than 60 enterprises, including CNPC Richfit and Beijing-Hong Kong Subway, recommended by Dongcheng Industry and Investment Promotion Bureau, Dongcheng Science Park, Dongcheng Human Resources and Public Service Center, Dongcheng SME Service Center and 17 sub-district level graduate service centers. In order to meet enterprises' demand for professional graduates in different fields, Dongcheng District has also organized 15 enterprises to participate in the job fairs held by Beijing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau at 6 universities including Renmin University of China, Beijing Technology and Business University, Beijing Information Science and Technology Universityand North China University of Technology. In the job fairs, the enterprises released 305 positions, and a total of 547 graduatesreaches preliminary employment agreement.In the next step, based on the construction of employment and internship base for undergraduates, Dongcheng will organize enterprises located in the district to coordinate with institutions of higher learning, make early plans and take early actions to collaborate with various colleges and universities, plan early and start work early to make talent services take root in resident enterprises.
