Drama Season Close-Up Mini-Play Staged as Planned

  After receiving a huge popularity last year, the 2018 Nanluo Guxiang Drama Season Close-Up Mini-Play was staged in Qingnianhu Park on June 16th as planned. The overall event design, consisting of 20 works and 14 performances, includes four modules such as Classic Retro, Original Creations, Parent-Child Theater and Drama Popularization. The event has met avid audiences on three weekends between June 16th and July 1st at Qingnianhu Park, Jiaolou Library and 77 Cultural and Creative Park.

  Themed on Drama Enriching Life with Art, the 2018 Nanluo Guxiang Drama Season Close-Up Mini-Play copies the performance in the theatre into our daily life, thus bridging a contact between art and the general public. The Close-Up Mini-Play, in an endeavor to excite people with fresh artistic experience, has done its best to meet their cultural needs by fully tapping the potential of much-admired sections such as Parent-Child Theater, Lines Drifting, Original Creations and Classic Interactions. The event also boasts amazing talents from youth directors, who have gained convincing credit on drama stage in recent years and were wholeheartedly involved in the show: Chen Tiantian from Dadao Comedy Theatre, Peng Zidong from Dashan Pai, Ma Yan from Banluren Drama Studio, Wang Guangbin and Zhang Yao (line examiner) from National Theatre of China. The artistic effect of Close-Up Mini-Play was magnified by constructing different backgrounds. In addition to Qingnianhu Park, in which a Theatrical Centennial Plaza is located, as the main venue, 77 Cultural and Creative Park, a new drama landmark, and Jiaolou Library, a traditional counterweight, were also added in. Therefore, the viewers can truly appreciate the development of dramas in accordance with the changes of environment and were marveled by the truthfulness, kindness and beauty expressed by the art.

  The Close-Up Mini-Play, bolstered by Dongcheng Drama brand, was attended zealously in an unprecedented scale. Many drama fans who have been cultivated through Zero-Foundation Experience Class and Drama Master Class are becoming volunteers for the event. They are actively engaged in drama promotion, writing, rehearsal and play, thus creating an enabling environment in which fans enjoy and play drama under the framework of Drama in Dongcheng district in various drama seasons.
