Dongcheng District Campaign at Military Camp

To commemorate the 91st anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, on the advent of the Army Day, the Dongcheng District Charity Association, the Double Support Work Section and the Charity and Disaster Relief Section under Dongcheng District Civil Affairs Bureau brought the exhibition boards of the 5th Charity in Beijing, Love for Dongcheng District Charity Photo Tour to the Dongcheng Fire Brigade, thus introducing the Charity Photo Tour in Dongcheng District into the military camp.

The 5th Charity in Beijing, Love for Dongcheng District Charity Photo Tour, consisting of a total of 16 exhibition boards, boasts rich content and attractive pictures, showing the viewers how Dongcheng District Charity studies and publicizes the spirit of the 19th Party Congress, implements the Charity Law, and promotes the five major charity cultures. Closely focusing on the core functional areas of capital Beijing, the Charity highlights the achievement in benefitting the people, adheres to the improvement of people's livelihood, and conducts precision assistance and targeted poverty alleviation.

The exhibition introduced into the military camp not only brought festive congratulations to officers and soldiers ahead of schedule, but also enriched their cultural life. The charitable idea that encourages the collaboration between the military and the community, mutual assistance, and relief for vulnerable groups was promoted and further consolidated. The activity played a positive role in promoting the charity cause and spiritual civilization development in Dongcheng District as well as forming a symbiosis relationship between the military and the government and between the military and the people.

Before August 1st, the charity photo tour will also reach to the Second Detachment of Beijing Armed Police Corps and other military camps.
