Dongcheng District Co-organized Exchange Seminar

  On October 12th, sponsored by the Middle School Chinese Teaching and Research Office of the Basic Teaching and Research Center of the Beijing Academy of Education Sciences, and co-sponsored by the Educational Commission of Dongcheng District, the District Educational Research Institute and the District Center for Teachers' Research and Further Studies, "Rebuilding Chinese Classroom in Middle Schools Based on Learning Activities", a key subject of the 13th Five-Year Plan of Beijing Educational Science, was held in Beijing NO.27 High School. Li Weidong, deputy director of the Basic Teaching and Research Center of the Beijing Academy of Education Sciences, Kong Qingliang, deputy director of the Educational Committee of Dongcheng District, and heads of the District Center for Teachers' Research and Further Studies and the District Educational Research Institute attended the event. A total of 300 educational scholars participated in the activity, including researchers of Chinese teaching from all districts of the city, Chinese teachers from junior and senior high schools, and teaching directors from various middle schools in Dongcheng District.

  In the activity, Li Weidong delivered a micro lecture "Transforming Our Chinese Classroom Based on the Perspective of Learners", appealing teachers to push forward the reform of middle school Chinese classrooms and improve the quality of Chinese teaching. Six teachers from different districts presented their classes centering on "design of learning activities (circumstance and task), use of learning resources (support) and evaluation of learning process (effects)". Experts and researchers from Beijing Normal University, Capital Normal University, Beijing Education Examinations Authority, Middle School Chinese Teaching and Research Office of the Basic Teaching and Research Center of the Beijing Academy of Educational Sciences, gave their after-class comments, guiding the teachers to find reasonable ways of classroom teaching reform and construct the reform strategy.
