Tour of the Imperial City (Purdue Temple → Nanchizi Area → Imperial City Museum of Art → Imperial City Restaurant)
Tour Itinerary:Purdue Temple →  Nanchizi Area → Imperial City Museum of Art, Imperial City Restaurant

Activities: This line is within the range of the Forbidden City. First go to Nanchizi Avenue, visiting the majestic hall at Purdue Temple, where originally the palace of Prince Rui, Dorgon, in Qing Dynasty was located. Nearside, there are many special Hutongs named by the services they provided for the Imperial City, for example, Ciqiku (the Porcelain Warehouse) Hutong and Duanku (the silk and satin warehouse) Hutong. Inside these Hutongs, visit and have a glance of many masterpieces of folk arts and crafts in folk artists’ studios scattered around the area. Not far from Purdue Temple is the Nanchizi historical and cultural protected area, with gray bricks and gray tiles, maintaining the alley pattern of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Imperial City Museum of Art is the only museum with the theme of royal history and culture. It represents the old Imperial City through the rare cultural relics and the means of art recovery. After the tour, go to the classical courtyard-style restaurant nearby-the Imperial City Restaurant-to have a dinner. This is a standard official courtyard, with beautiful environment and a blend of delicacies. The Changpu River Park in which the Imperial City Museum of Art and the Imperial City Restaurant reside, is a newly built city park, with pleasant scenery: small bridges, flowing rivers, etc.
