The Beijing Da Dong Roast Duck Restaurant branch is located at Dongsishitiao Nanxincang which has a rich cultural. Every staff has contributed to the design of the restaurant.

General manager, Mr Dong Zhen Xiang had fused his understanding of traditional Chinese culture into its design to convey to everyone the rich culture of Da Dong Roast Duck Restaurant. Here, you’re able to sense the essence of culture in every detail and every corner.

‘Traditional Chinese Calligraphy’ and ‘Stone Carvings’ are among the Chinese traditional art forms that epitomizes the inner beauty of art.

The beauty of traditional Chinese calligraphy and stone carvings are reflected in the design of Da Dong Roast Duck Restaurant. Inscriptions by the late Aisin-Gioro in the form of carvings on a stone tablet sat in glorious splendor in the main hall of the new restaurant; the display of strong brushstrokes in golden splendor and vivid carving, demonstrated the profoundness and deep inner substance of Chinese calligraphy. Thus, Da Dong is determined to inherit tradition. Furthermore, the restaurant’s doors and lightings are imprinted with the image seal of the words “Da Dong”as though carved in stone.

The restaurant has more than twenty VIP rooms and is very particular about the naming of each room. The names of which were extracted from the book collection pavilion: “Wen Jiang”, “Wen You”,“Wen Su”... From this, we can see the manager’s knack for detail. The design of the VIP rooms has a rich cultural feel, the magnificent calligraphy inscriptions on the walls, the rough brushstroke of the stone carving imprints on the lightings, precious antiques and china, colorful traditional Chinese paintings as decoration...reflecting the manager’s and the restaurant owner’s inner substance.

Although Da Dong Roast Duck Restaurant’s design is of rich ancient feel, the fresh green color gives the restaurant a lively feel. Everyday, hardworking staffs will choose fresh flowers from the market to decorate the restaurant to express Da Dong’s sincerity to its customers, just like the authenticity of its dishes.

By building on its inherited traditional culinary skill as a foundation while moving with the times, it’ll continue to innovate. Its delicately developed “crispy yet non-greasy” roast duck, while maintaining its good taste, has satisfied people’s demand for healthy food. As a result, such innovation has not only achieved the acknowledgement of the Chinese, but it has also gone global! “Supermeat” has become synonymous with Da Dong Roast Duck overseas which is widespread.
